Can anyone tell me what I would need to attach a Canon 350D body to a telescope please. The telescope takes a standard 1.25" eyepiece. Thanks.

You did not specify the type of telescope, and that is VERY important. I simply mount my camera body on my 10" Celestron SC telescope using a screw-on adapter tube and t-ring with the appropriate fitting for my camera lens mount.

On an older 8" reflecting telescope, I had to use a different kind of mounting system, and still another type on a homebrew Dobsonian.

Check with your telescope manufacturer, if it is a name-brand, for an adapter.

You can also check with a knowledgable photographic company that sells telescopes, such as B & H Photo http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...;shs=telescopeand accessories for them. You will need to know the brand/type of telescope you have.

On edit, Several types and sizes of adapters for eyepiece mount are shown here http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...camera+adapter

Hope this helps a bit!
