Default which camera do I pick??

I could really use some advice on trying to purchase a new camera. I am looking for a small, compact camera that I can throw in my purse so I will have a camera available when a photo opportunity arises. I would like to have clear sharp images that will print like professional quality. The two cameras I am currently trying out are the Olympus Stylus 300 and the Sony DSC-P32. I would appreciate your advice or recommendations on these cameras. I was also looking into the Sony DSC-P9 or DSC-P7. Anyone have any experience with any of these cameras??? I really am at a loss at which would be my best choice. Thanks in advance for your help.

My favorite 35mm point-and-shoot camera was the Olympus Stylus, which I bought when they first came out. It still worked great the last time I used it (at the end of my pre-digital era, a little over a year or so ago). It fit neatly in a pocket in my fanny pack (laugh, Steve6, laugh!) and the sliding cover saved it many times from dirt, debris, rain, and careless boys. I would recommend the Olympus 300 without hesitation, assuming it has maintained the same high standards of compactness and durability. I bought another Olympus digital and have been extremely pleased with it as well.
