when answering queries in the "which camera to buy " section i find it amazing the level of pricing differential twixt the US and UK:shock:, I try and base suggestions on UK prices but generally speaking US prices are much lower onaverage, The cameras one suggests are totally value based in each market segment it being next to impossible to give correct and accurate recommendations if the prospective purchasers wherabouts are not stated.

Can i kindly suggest that posters make it clear what country they are from, so prices and model availability can be specificaly applied to them.

That is an excellent suggestion. I oftentimes find myself in that specific situation.
