Avitar change

I changed my avitar and when I look at it on my account all is well, however when I post something I still see my gorilla image.

I can delete the new avitar, leave it blank and nothing shows. If I put the new one back in, the old one shows up.
What makes the change take affect?

I think I'm seeing your current avatar (unless the gorilla is wearing a yellow shirt andhas shaved.)

I think you need to delete your Temporary Internet Files. In Windows, select Start : Settings : Control Panel : Internet Options. Under "Browsing History", click on the "Delete..." button. Under "Temporary Internet Files", click on the "Delete Files..." button.

I think that Ctrl + refresh (or maybe Alt + refresh) works as well.
