Hello , I purchaced a sony dsc-v1 camera with no charger or usb ,what would i need to download pictures to my computer? some software or something or would i just hook up a usb to my computer ,i dont know much about this stuff, someone please help.thanks ,Tim.

Get a card reader that can deal with Sony's memory stick.

The V1 is older, so if you had the USB cable, you'd have to load some fairly old drivers which may not be a good idea for newer operating systems. I think my preferred method of transferring images would be to use a card reader like BillDrew says.
Also, the V1 doesn't come with a charger, but it does come with an AC adapter which is used to charge the battery while it's in the camera. If, you don't have the AC Adapter, Adorama has them. ok, thank you very much for the info, i will check the website out, figure it's worth buying a charger &card reader since i only paid $36.00 for the camera.thanks, Tim.
