Hey everyone, its less than 2 months til the holidays. So I thought I would start a little thread to see what is on Santa's list for you.
1. Olympus E-P2 with 17mm pancake (but may just pick up a used E-P1 or Panny G1 if the prices fall due to e-p2 and gf1) 2. Canon 85 1.8 3. Tamron 17-50 2.8 with VR 4. Sigma 150-500 HSM OS Obviously I am not going to be able to get them all, but its my reasonable wish list. My win the lottery christmas wish list is much different lol. |

My wish list at the moment, subject to additions later on:
Hoya R72 filter (diameter size undecided at the moment) Graduated ND filter Weather sealed lens around 18-50 or so. Two choices, huge price differences. Can't make up my mind which one. |

A Fujifilm W-1 3D camera, if Fuji ever gets around to releasing them in Canada.
Oh, yeah, and the V-1 Viewer, too. |

I have yet to think about Christmas let alone dinners in between but my list is short.. So Santa all I ask for is Clientele before the Christmas season cause I want them to be able to spread their Christmas spirit via the snap shots I take of them before and set upon post cards for them to send I will then be able to accommodate what I really wish to have a new computer and the storage box to store the photos on and a much better camera for taking more snap shots with... then can I place on my total wish list the garage to be built so we can clear out the modular home and build a real two story home with plenty of room and stairs for my daily exercise which is really needed.. I have my plans I am working on there as well... The Garage first one with a three room studio...upstairs...a kitchenette downstairs and three stalls and one & 1/2 bathroom and washroom for the washer and dryer.. to live in while the house 4 bedroom gets built... with a sun room in between the two. One after the other and all will go according to my plans not some one elses that is not living with me but out side of my immediate family. From there I know I will be OK...

My Xmas wish list:
1. A new monitor - probably a low-end Eizo flexscan. My current monitor's colour accuracy is woeful. 2. An Epson R3880 printer. 3. A GF-1 or EP-1 and 20mm f1.7. (or maybe an S90 instead). 4. Canon 28mm f1.8 again (why oh why did I sell the last one???). 5. VC 20mm f3.5 in EF mount. or perhaps Zeiss 18mm f3.5 in EF mount. And finally of course (in case there really is a Santa - a Leica M9). Last edited by peripatetic; Nov 6, 2009 at 3:00 AM. |
