My battery reads defective. I dont believe I have shot over 500 pictures total. seems like it should have lasted longer. I was downloading 113 pictures to Picassa and it took quite awhile. I left it on over night. now the battery is shot. found replacement battery for 17.95 each plus 5.oo shipping. oh well.
