Default How to reset the image number in HP 850 ?

When I'm uploading pictures from my 850 to the pc
the pic filename is followed by a number ( HPIM0015,16,17 etc'). this number is increasing by one each picture I take.
Does any one know how to resets this and make my camera to start counting from the beginning ?
BTW any one updated to the new 1.01.06 firmware ?

Default F/W update

I updated F/W to ...06 in ps850. It did not reset image counter
F/W update did not resets any values in the Service screen: shots, strobes, zooms.
In my old ps720 after F/W update all counters resets to zero.

Hi Shark,

Just curious, why would you need to reset the number count? One advantage for not resetting this number is so you will know how many photos the camera has taken in its lifetime. That would help the technician if you would ever need to have it check out.

Sorry, I have one but don't know how to reset the number neither. Have you tried to ask HP technical support?

About the upgrade, you should upgrade it. It does seems to resolve some of the problems.
