R607 input please

Hello everyone, I recently saw a great deal on a R607 4.1MP camera. I know its not the most recent one but I was thinking of buying it for my fiancee to play around with. What are your feelings about this camera?

Is the R607 a decent camera? does it have huge deficiencies? or is it comparable to some of the better P&S cameras out there?

There aren't many reviews of this camera out there.
