Ok,

I recieved this camera for free and, for its price I like it.

Now what I would like to know is, I want to start a little website for Desktop Pictures of Vancouver BC.

The camera has a Max Resolution of 1632 x 1232 pixels in both low compression or high compression formats.

Now what I would like to do is learn how to take decent Landscape pictures with this "snapshot" digicam and then use photoshop to make them nice 1024x768 or even slightly higher desktop pictures for people.
Now is it possible for me to take decent shots with this camera that can bring the beauty out of Vancouver and its surrounding areas?

Now my photography experentice is mainly with an old Pentax 35mm SLR and those pictures always come out beautifully, but I hate having to use up the roll and having them developed and then having them scanned. I also have done astrophotography with that camera, as well as with an Olympus mounted to a lovely 90mm Skywatcher Refactor Telescope.
