Hi,
I've just purchased a 850. First impression is good. Although the batteries that ship with the unit last about 10 pictures. But, maybe I'm playing around too much  Now, I've discovered there is a threaded ring on the body around the lens. It's not ON the lens, so installing a filter is a no-no. Now what's this for? Anybody got a clue? Any other nifty add-on's available for this camera? (Besides the docking station). Thanks, Arend/Holland |

You must use a tube with a 55mm mount to connect lenses (for example tubes made for Fuji 4900/6900/S602)
I use a Tube 55mm-55mm (Kenko) and a step-down ring 55mm-52mm (Hama) to connect several things : - Close-up lenses (Hoya, +2 and +3) - Circ polarizer filter - Tele lens Raynox DCR-1850Pro (x1.85) You can see here for much informations : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/photosmart_850 (registering needed) it's the group for this camera, great ! And see in "lens and add-on" forum on this web site, I have posted a link to the test of Raynox Telephoto... |

Washi,
If you haven't done so, get yourself an AC adapter. It gives you power while recharging your Ni-MH batteries. I found a great deal for 24 Pcs AA 1800 mAh Ni-MH Rechargeable Batteries at http://www.batteryspace.com for only $23.99! That will give plenty of power for a loooong time
