Martin,

'Don't know what happened, but all is fine now. Dragging or opening the photo into the program will seat it properly and, again, I am quite impressed with what you have come up with. Thanks for sharing.

Default v1.62

Latest version 1.62 is available. I've added some subtle levels adjustment which counteracts some of the flatness HDR tends to produce. Here are a few of the test images posted previously done with v1.62. These are using the low resolution originals posted by others here. The detail and strength settings were both set to 'Avg'.

Huang Long

All of those picks went Low Contrast and Low Strength with your software.
I can certainly redo them with PS8 and layers, contrast. EV, etc., but at the expense of time and hard work.
I must say all picks have been denoised. Noise is a problem to solve.
Final note: i miss the loupe.

What is the 'loupe' ? [Edit] - googled it. The magnification window. Should be able to put in a new version of that easily enough in the next version.

[Edit again] - 1.63 has a 100% crop function so you can view the full-resolution result. just check the box and move the mouse over the image to scroll. Click like before to switch between the original and processed image.

I was curious as to the wildly different cololurs so I downloaded the original RAW file - I like the Sagelight result as a picture but it seems to have removed some of the red colour cast caused by the rising/setting sun which alters the mood somewhat. Mine has gone a bit too far in boosting it - something in the middle would probably look better.
