Default Rocky Mountains

This only my 2nd time trying HDR.... how did I do? I used HDR Darkroom. C&C please...

It's not bad but I'd expect a bit more detail to show in the trees as below (AutoHDR on default settings). You've also got a bit of a halo around the peak which is washing out the detail in the clouds around it.

original shot is really nice composition, but as Martin and Bynx says, need more foreground detail..

HDR is about getting the most out of every spectrum of light, and not have too contrasty final pics.

i like the first how the mountian and sky came out ...... as mentioned the trees could just do with a little boost if it wasnt in the hdr section you would have got away with it
