Default Party Boat - Pseudo HDR

Been too busy to post for a while but finally found some time. This is a single jpeg pseudo-HDR of a pirate themed wedding aboard a boat in Liverpool docks. Sony a580, DRO level 3. AutoHDR 2.07 on the detailed preset. Resized to 2160 on the long side before processing and 720 after processing for use on Facebook.

I think this latest version did a good job of avoiding jaggies and halos round the rigging.

And the unedited version OOC:

It seems that the HDR lacks some contrast Martin.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Max Ehrmann.

Martin - nice photo, and good example of the power of your autoHDR program. Thanks for sharing (your photos, skills and software).

Ordo - I agree. However what I've generally found is that if I use PhotoMatix Pro, or Martin's autoHDR program, a touch of contrast (or playing with curves) often gives a great outcome- that is: both a more detailed / smooth light, yet sufficient contrast to give it that 'punch' (while maintaining a natural look).
