In order to protect lens on GO-HD, I used my imagination and I remembered seeing something that could work as lens cover.

I visited HomeDepot, and at the plumbing section pulled off a protective plastic cover on the end of a 1" galvanized piece of Pipe.

I measured it on the camera lens and it slips in PERFECT

All I have to do is clean it at home and modify/cut the cap to slip completely over lens/body of camera. I may end up coloring it black to make it prettier, but most important is that it works.

I'll get picture of my 'lens cap' as soon as I get home later tonight.

Oh yea... I almost forgot . price = free

25mm just a tab larger fits like a charm

and even a strap
