I purchased an Aiptek MDV today.

I placed the battery inside the camera, and plugged the charging cable to the camera, and saw a small green light where the flash is.

The camera is OFF btw.

I can turn the camera on, so that works.

My question is, is the green light supposed to be on the whole time? My manual says I should see a red light until it's charged, in which case it should turn green, yet it's stayed green the whole time.

dp ypu mean the MZ-DV?

1 not knowing where you got this hybrid if new? or used? Ebay or Aiptek, or a store? it is hard to say what condition it realy is in?

2/ so the bestt hing to say the battery is fully charged?

remove it from thedevice and keep the Plug in does it stay on?

3 allow the battery to be used, and not fora few minutes but a 1/2 hour see if it goes to red?

4. I am not using an internal charger yet but a external, if this is a np-60 battery the IS-DV or aftermarket charger is the way to go?

hope some one who owns one can comment but you're the only oneso far that got one:G

sorry but hey those are the optons you have hope it helped out
