I was running some tests with the Aiptek HD last night and I shot several images and I noticed in the left hand bottom corner a white haze.

I could see it through the viewfinder and I originally thought it was lens flare of some sort. The picture attached was on an overcast evening so no reason for such an artifact.

Any suggestions? Its a new camera.

This is consistent with condensation or a smudge in the lens/optical portion of the camera. And absloutely not what you'd expect from a problem with the digital circuitry.

If you can't see something, then it may be between the lens and the sensor, or a smudge on the sensor. Or a flaw in the lens. If it's anything beyond condensation or material on the outer optical parts, then it's just defective.

If you want to be famous, you could publicize that you have a camera that can photograph ghosts.
