As I mentioned a while back, I finally got around to making some new exploration videos, this time using the Jazz HDV178 (the camera I decided to keep). I'm very pleased with how the videos came out. Both were recorded at 1280x720 then editedin Premiere and exported at 640x360@30FPS at around 8000kbps.

http://www.vimeo.com/1206495< This video shows a house near an old abandoned bible college.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=lOK3PB-92Ss< This video is of an abandoned greenhouse which is apparently in the process of being torn down.

All in all, I'm very pleased with this little camera. About my only gripe has been some recent end-of-movie issues. So far it's not really mattered, but some videos end with about 2-5 seconds of video without audio. Since I usually am not very precice with how I film, I'm not totally sure if I hit the button WHEN it does this or what.

Is this audio problem on the camera itself or when you playback/convert them on your pc?
