I'm not sure if anyone here is familiar with the Noka N95 mobile/cell phones, but if you are, then you probably familiar with the sound quality of the Nokia N95.

I wonder if anyone here has tried the N95 microphone as replacement for the Aiptek ahd200 faulty microphone?

Here is a picture of what it looks like
it's only about 2millimeter by 3millimeter.

Click here is a nokia service video how to disassemble the N95.

Here is a demo video that I uploaded taken with my N95 in a barwith live music

The Nokia cameraphones are definitely among the best on the market for video and photos. My wife has the Nokia N73, also with Carl Zeiss Optics and autofocus. The video on the N73, while nowhere near as good as the N95 is far better than most cameraphones. My only disappointment, is that while they use a Video CD format of 352x288, they didn't give it enough bitrate so you can make create a true Video CD ie if you play the video back full screen is dissolves into a pixelated mess. At least on the N95 the bitrate and resolution is similar to the Standard Definition Hybrids!
