The colors definitely seemed more vibrant with the Action HD as though it has a warm filter. Also, I did notice it was auto-focusing a little. The colors on the GVS seemed muted like it has a cool filter. I would have to go with Action HD. From your point of view, did the Action HD more accurately record what you were looking at in person?

For the sound, the GVS definitely had a much more sensitive mic. Was an external mic attached to it? For the scene where the shopping cart was moved, I could barely hear it on the Action HD. So I think the GVS probably captures the audio much better.

Thanks for sharing your comparison shot with us. I think I'm going to enjoy my Action HD for now and maybe someday acquire the GVS after they improve it with new firmware (and after the price drops!).
