As I know when a camera mention shot in 24p is not just a frame rate matter. Its so easy to convert any fps to another using some video converter (Sony procoder or TMPGenc). But the true is, when a camera shot in 24p its change the cmos or CCD works. Rather than to make a quantity of frame (30, 60 etc), it push the chip to enrich the color matter process. So when a camcorder mention shot in 24p the video result is much better in color quality. Once again its not a matter of fps. CMIWW.

As far as I know theresnt such hybrid camcorder shot in this mode

Producer, 24fps can also be easily converted to 25fps by the conversion software running it faster, as the 4% speed increase visually is not noticeable and the audio frequency can also be adjusted to compensate. Conversion from 30fps to 25fps usually results in frames with a loss of quality.
