You need to search for a device that swaps the component output to HDMI. Sometimes a player might have component input and HDMI output. But you might have to use rca or be restricted to SD resolution if using component to hdmi on a player.

This might work for you, not a bad price http://www.amazon.com/component-YPbP...ponent+to+hdmi

Or I'm assuming it's a newer smart HDTV which probably has USB ports. You should be able to buy a USB SD card reader like this http://www.amazon.com/Transcend-Info...sd+card+reader and slip in your SD card and watch from the TV. That way you don't kill the battery on the camcorder. There are many ways to watch video, if you don't have a smart TV you can also purchase some type of media player like this, this has SD card slot, you cake card out and read it from the player http://www.amazon.com/Micca-Speck-Fu...player+sd+card
