I've been using my Epson 1200U (USB) scanner on Windows 98 with no problems, but now when I attempt to scan into any program, I get "Error opening data source." I have the latest Twain driver, and have removed the scanner from the device manager, and reinstalled the driver, but still get the error message. I've also made sure to try to acquire the scanner in the programs I use (Photoshop Elements, etc.), but when I do that, I get the same error message. The only recent changes I've made have been to install a few games and a Logitech game controller for my nephew. Since installing those, I've used the scanner, so I haven't uninstalled the games and controller yet. When I turn the scanner on, it appears to start up just like it always has. I've done a search on Google, but couldn't find much info. I'm hoping someone will be able to help me figure this out.
