Hi * *I have had the Canon N650U for years and am now looking for an upgrade. First, I was considering the new LiDE70 (I particularly like the small size and powered by USB), however,* I now also need to scan some medium format B/W negatives. My understanding is that I won't be able to scan the medium format negatives with the LiDE70 properly (correct me if I'm wrong). Are the LiDE 600F* or*4400F appropriate, or would I need the 8600F to handle those negatives? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

I have almost the same issue. I'm looking at the 600F for scanning monochrome 35mm negatives (mostly Tri-X), and I'm wondering how good a job it can do in this respect. Anyone have some experience?
