I am using a canon i950 series printer and have been fairly satisfied with the results. I am now in need of a new printer and am looking for some advice. I shoot with a nikon D70S with a 80/400 lens and a 995 and a 4300 using a Meade ETX 90 spotting scope with a 28 and 40mm lens. Wildlife and flowers are my main interest. I would like to acquire a printer that has multple ink tanks, preferable 8. The printer I have now uses 6 but I am thinking 8 will give me better results. I have always printed 8x10's or smaller to achieve the best sharpness. The Canon Pro 9000 which just came out would serve be well but I do not think I would use the 13x19 capability. Is there another alternative offering the same quality in the 8x10 range? My preference for Canon is the quality and cost of the ink cartrigdes and the ease of replacing both the cartridges and the print heads when needed.

Thanks in advance for any advice
