After being an Epson user for many years I'm thinking of changing over to a Canon IP3300. I do have a lot of Epson ink in stock, does any one know is there much difference between the two dye based inks? I'm not bothered about the warranty infringment etcbut just will the Epson ink work in a Canon?

I would not chance it, as printheads and ink are designed to work together. Worst case, you buy a print head.

Thanks for your reply. I did in factbuy another Epson printer as I had a lot of Epson ink. I thought "better the devil :evil:you know".I got the Epson Photo R265 and a CISS with it. It does the job of printing labels for library books with no problems. 67,000 mini labels! (so far!):-)
