The best photopaper is usually determined by what printer you use, and what kind of photos you print. In most cases, I would recommend sticking with the manufacturer's papers, as they have been most thoroughly tested with the printer.

I tried out some inexpensive paper with my R1800, just to make a large number of 4x6" prints, and had a horrible time. The ink took forever to dry, and was easily scratched even after drying. OTOH, Epson paper comes out of the printer dry to the touch, and seems to be very tough and fingerprint resistant.

Hey Everybody,
I just tried the photo paper samples I got from freephotopaper.com. And I have to say the prints were beautiful on both the gloss and satin. I highly reccommend you check out their free samples at http://www.freephotopaper.com/sample-offerf.htm

A free course on digital photo printing also comes with the samples.

regards

OK guys and gals. We do not allow vendors to advertise in our forums. So, please do not plug your own company, products, or services here.

Thanks.
