Default Stratitec Photo Ink refill kit

I was at Sam's Club the other day and noticed they had a Stratitec injet refill kit Model #EIR480S. This kit contained the 6 inks, including the photo megenta and cyan. Has anyone tried this kit in any of the photo printers? If so, how is the quality of the images printed? Do they match what the factory inks look?

Hope you can help

Thanks
Bill

Default Stratitec Refill Kit

I have been using the Stratitec refill kit in my Cannon S9000 for about a year. It has worked perfectly. When I first used it, I printed a color bar pattern with Cannon ink, on Cannon Glossy Paper. I also printed the same file with the Stratitec ink on the Cannon paper. I could see no difference. About a year later, I still see no difference. It MAY be the same ink. I doubt Cannon makes their own ink. I have had no clogs or any other trouble from the printer. Of course, YMMV. John

Thanks for the info. I feel that I will do some testing with these inks in the near future. I have not been able to find the Canon cartridges to cheep and read bad things about some others.
