Default Having a hard time choosing between i960 and the R300M

Can someone sway me one way or the other? I like i960 seperate 4x6 tray, clear ink tanks, its rave reviews. The R300M I like the idea of being able to print panoramic pics, the multi card reader is nice, but currently no use for it. Anyone?

If it were me, I'd opt for the i960. I thought about waiting for the R800, but decided the i960 fit my needs well.

Have you tried a black and white photo? How is the quality of it?

At 5760X1440 dpi the R300 has slightly better resolution than the 4800x1200 of the i960. Hard to see with the naked eye though. I beleive they are both GREAT printers.

I got my Canon i960 today. Prints great photos and BW. Fits my needs and save money on ink. Go with the i960. the R-300 sucks up ink, friend has one and I like my i960 better.

I would expect the R-300 may use a little more ink than the i960 since it has better resolution.
Does anyone know of any hard data on ink usage/comparison of these two printers from third party testing?
Thanks (still shopping for a new printer....)
