G'day mate

The OEM will tell you that their inks / toners / batteries etc are the best "as they are made for the product" ~ however over the past 30+ years I have used all of OEM and 3rd party and found variable results with all of them

Every batch of ink & paper has minor variables and for the best results, you need to operate a colour-profile system at all times

If you're not into profiles, then "if it were me", I would use 3rd party products all the time .... same as batteries for example

I figure it's much the same as Ford saying "we prefer BP fuels in our cars" when from experience, we know that any of 1/2-dozen fuel makers will provide an identical product

Hope this helps
Phil
