Hi,

When printing to my 2200 (letting PS manage color) I'm getting a pronounced red cast to my prints. If I let the printer manage the color, the red cast goes away so I know it's probably a problem with the way PS is handling color. PS is set up using US prepress defaults and I'm using "print w/ preview" to select the output space as "2200 premium glossy" to match the paper. Printer color management is turned off. the red cast also goes away if I select "same as source" for the output space. I'm using a Mac (monitor calibrated w/ a spyder).
Any suggestions or hints? thanks very much

Hi, two things,

1'st Look at the epson document titled "When using an ICC printer profile with Adobe Photoshop what settings are recommended to reduce the reddish cast from my image?" found here:

http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/s...amp;foid=31112

2'nd download the latest 2200 ICC profiles from the epson site, the new profiles are actually pretty good. (and the latestprint driver and status monitor, if you have not got them they address WinXP sp2 printing issues.)
