I purchase refill cartridges from www.inkcarts.com. Have received one bad cartridge, they sent the replacement with a free mailer to return the old one. If you go to their web site use the coupon
GETMEADEAL

You will receive 25% off your order.

If you are looking for absolute lowest price try www.mega***********. However, I have an Epson and have found that PrintRite brand seems to be of better and more cosistent quality. I buy mine from www.007ink.com, which is still less than WebSourceSales.

My favorite is www.carrotink.com. Great service, never had a bad cartridge. Not the lowest cost, tho' their specials are very good deals.

Is the color of the Carrot ink equal to the Canon?

I recently purchased generic inks for my S9000
from Websouce Sales.

It is junk!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started replacing my Canon inks with these.
At one point I had 3 Canon and 3 generic ink
in my printer and it printed fine.

But after replacing all of them with these generics
it now prints photos with a dark grey cast on them,
los of deatail etc. Real garbage.

Yet, if I print solid colors, it prints vivid color.
It kind of gets me to believe this ink is reacting
with itself when it is mixed to create different colors.

I would really like to know if the Carrot ink is the way to go.
I don't like the idea of paying $11-12 per cartridge.

For color consistency, stick with either factory ink ($$) or PrintRite. I've tried a bunch of "bargain" ink. Most is junk. Colors usually seem to be shifted toward green or blue.

In my previous post I mentioned www.007ink.com which doesn't seem to be there anymore. I have bought PrintRite from www.computergate.com many times in the past, and their prices seem to have come down. I will proabaly go back to them. At least they are reputable and will be there in the future!

while searching for a place to buy ink refills I ran into this http://www.med-psych.net/inkjet.html.

There is a whole list of generic ink suppliers. Enjoy.
