Default Adhesive for Framing?

8) I know from my film days, that framed prints tend to sag after a few years if not attached to a backing, and also that you can't use just any adhesive.

I am debating what adhesive to try for gluing my digital enlargements to a backing before framing. I really don't want to pay for dry-mounting or to attempt it myself.

Any advice will be appreciated.

3M makes a spray for mounting picture on mat, or rubber cement (ie peelable) both side with a brush to get a thin coat. Available @ most art stores (Michaels and al...)
