Default Watercolor Paper for Inkjet Printing

Does anyone have any recommendations on good watercolor or drawing paper that I could use in my inkjet printer? I have a HP printer and want to print out a photo that I took with my Nikon Coolpix 5000 that was editied in Photoshop using a filter to give it a watercolor painting effect.

For anything with artistic merit I choose Pictorico Premium Water Color Card Stock to print on. It's a paper manufactured by Olympus. I happen to use the 8.5 x 11 size but other sizes are available. It seems to be a heavy weight paper and printable on both sides. I think it's a great paper!

Default Watercolor papers

Hello,

I've been really happy with B&W output on the Epson Radiant White watercolor paper.

The cheapest place I've found to purchase it is atlex.com .

Red River paper may have the paper you want. You can order a sample kit from for $15. It has water color paper included in the samples.

Default Watercolor paper

I just printed out a scenic that I applied watercolor filters in Photoshop. It blew me completely away. It is beautiful. The watercolor effect is simply magnificent. I have a 30 year art background. The paper is called Lumijet Museum Parchment and is available from Freestyle Sales on the net. I am not an agent for them, but just think if you want watercolor effect you need this. BTW it was printed on a Canon i960--so much for everyone saying you get best quality from Canon paper only. This paper is VERY thick with a deep watercolor paper effect and goes through the Canon straight path very nicely.I think I will change my name to Monet
