Default I need an in between paper.

I have a i850 printer and I have been using Canon matte paper. The colors are too muted for me and the glossy paper is too glossy...if you know what I mean.

Is there a paper out there that is a good in between paper?

thanks

I have been using RedRiver paper for about 6 months and am very happy with my results. You can order a sample set of their paper and find out what you like.

good luck

I called and talked to a rep at Red River Paper after reading your post responses to paper issues.

Thanks for the info...I should be getting the paper within 7-10 days.

Other than Red River have you had experience with others?

No other experience. I found the paper from Red River and success was what I wanted.

Check into using the Epson premium Semiglossy or the Premium Luster paper. You can pick em off of buy.com pretty cheap.

Default Red River Paper

Well I recieved the Red River sample pack. All I can say is WOW!! the quality I get from their paper is fantastic compared to Canon's paper. My wife likes the matte look to photos I particularly do not..that is until I tried Red River Matte paper. The sharpness is very evident. The canon matte is very muted and has dull edges and I get either roller marks or banding on Canon matte paper.

Over all impression of Red River paper: Quality paper at a good price.

Thank you everyone.

Default Red River Paper for Canon Printers

You can also try their Polar Satin paper. You might like it. Red River makes several matte papers. I would strongly suggest you use the Polar Matte (I have used this many times) if you like a matte finish over a gloss. It (in my humble view) gives the best color renditions and it has the longest print life of their matte papers.
