I've just purchased the Canon Pixma MP150 and would like to know if I can use the USB port on the front of the printer to connect to my laptop to print documents? In the manual it says it's only for cameras and such and any misuse might harm the machine. Anyone ever try using this port as oppossed to using the one on the back? Any help would be great, thanks in advance for any comments!

Never tried but I very much doubt it's possible...

The USB port on the front is specifically design for pendrives, and other memory sticks so you can do direct printing.. Not for interaction with a PC.
