DX4900 Battery issue
One of my friends gave me their Kodak camera to see if I could figure out why it turns itself off after taking only 10 photos !
The battereies are Kodak 1850mAh NiMH AA's and are charged in their Kodak K4000 charger which automatically turns itself off after a few hours of charging.
I tested the camera myself and true to form I managed only 10-12 photos using the flash / LCD screen on before the low battery light appeared.
Had anyone else had this problem / is it a known fault ?
Many thanks for any info on this.

I have a dx4900. i bought energizer 1850 batteries with a charger. I am able to get atleast 40+ pictures with the lcd on. The batteries might be possibly faulty or not being charged fully. To test this see if you can borrow a set of batteries off someone and see how long or how many pictures you can take
there is also a setting i copy paste from manual
