I recently purchased a replacement LCD for my Kodak DX7440. My LCD basically spontaneously combusted. I'm fairly good at repairing electronics, but i was wondering how difficult it is and if anyone has any tips for me?

Kristin I can honestly say that I'd leave that one up to Kodak to do. That's what I'd do. Not telling you what to do. I do Industrial maintenance repair and fool around with electronics a bit myself. I have no qualms or fears about working on a multimillion dollar machine at work. But my DX6490 is mine and I'd feel really bad if I messed it up. I just can't bring myself to do anything on it!! I know this isn't much help but you probably won't find many folks here brave enough to work on their cameras either!
