I just received my new Z612, charged battery and reas manual several times while battery was charging.

As I started setting up the camera and experimenting I noticed that the LCD and EVF were getting grainy after about 5 minutes, after 10 minutes they were so grainy I had trouble seeing the subject. I took a few pictures anyway and they come out clear and clean, on the LCD, TV and computer. I contacted Kodak they told me to reset the battery so I did that and it cleared the LCD/EVF however after 5 minutes it grained up again, Pictures still look good. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Thanks for your time,

Rodney :?

I believe that it is an individual camera defect. I own and use my Z-612 a lot and I have never noticed this problem. Kodak is excellent with their warranty service.

I own a Z612 and know a few other folks who do and no one has had such a problem. I would return the camera at once for a replacement. BTW the View finder on the 612 is terrific.
