Kodak DX6340 Works great in docking station with or without a battery installed. Snaps pictures and movies work to.

With AC adaptor plugged into the 3V input the camera comes on and shuts off right away.

Does not work at all with battery if not in docking. New battery and fully charged on outside charger. Tried three sets of batteries.

Any Ideas?

What batteries are you using? Have you tried altering the way they are inserted into the camera. Have you had this trouble in the past? I would try a CRV3 battery as it can only go in one way and should provide excellent power.

If you have tried these, then your camera may need service.

Thanks, I was kind of looking for technical help. Maybe someone that repairs cameras. I am good with batteries. I buy and sell cameras but haven't come across this yet. It is a camera that I purchased and getting a camera serviced that isn't under uarrentee isn't feasable as the repair cost is more than the camera is worth. I have had camera's that the latch that holds the battery in was broken and the battery wasn't making contact but not in this case. In this case it isn't an issue with the battery. I guess it is somewhere inside. Just have to dig into it.

Thanks for the response.
