I've been very impressed with the Kodak P880 camera - especially the 24mm (equiv.) lens and ability to accept an add-on flash. I've read the few discussions of the Kodak P20 flash, which works with several digital Kodaks, and have a few questions:

1. Is there any other flash compatible with the hot shoe on the Kodak P850/880, etc.? I've always been partial to Sunpak myself. It would be nice to find a flash for less than about $120. Is the Kodak hot shoe a match for another manufacturer, such as Nikon, Canon, Pentax, etc.?

2. There was some discussion about an off-camera dedicated flash cable, but it ended up going in the direction of using slaves. I'd like to be able to move the flash out of the hot shoe and retain full dedication. Is such a cable available? Does perhaps a cable for Canon, Nikon, etc. work here?

Thanks in advance!
