A while back I went to turn on my Kodak V550 and it would not turn on. I recharged the battery, and even tried another battery. When placed in charge cradle the top blue lights come on. But no LCD, no lens extending.

Is this a common problem with these units? There seem to be other no power up kodak cams on ebay.

Anyone know of possible solutions to fix it?
short of taking a hammer to it of course :-).

Any insight on this issue would be much appreciated.
