Default Really like the Kodak DX6440 EasyShare

Just bought my first digital camera. I am a confirmed Canon AF SLR user who is waiting for that right DSLR (what that is I don't know yet). Until then I decided to pick up a digi-cam to get used to the technology. I researched lots of models and wound up buying the Kodak EasyShare DX6440 and it is great. VERY easy to use and I can get as semi-manual or automatic as I want. I bought the printer dock and really am impressed with the 4x6's it produces as well.

The lens is really sharp and the size of the camera, compared to hauling my SLR with 17-40 and 70-200 zoom plus flash, is a nice change. Truly a camera you can take anywhere. I was really prepared for all the problems you hear about with these cameras- slow startup, slow focus, etc. I am really impressed with where the technology has gone in producing a camera like this. If you are a comfirmed SLR user and just want a nice, SHARP, convenient digital camera to tote along that can take some great pics, this is a great option.
