What Does Your Town or City Look Like?

In our continuing effort to get a little more information exchange and activity in this folder, here is an opportunity to get you out and sharing a bit about your hometown.

I will start off and hopefully many of you will choose to join in and to share some details of your home town with all of us. My husband and I are retired and we live in a small town of just 6,600 people along the Oregon Coast.

Crab Fishing and Easter Lily productions are what drive the economy of our little town. So today, I have posted a Crab Boat heading out of the harbor in search of Dungeness crab.

Since we have a wonderfully sunshine filled day, here is the view from our rear deck of that Oregon coastline. The photo was taken with my Kodak Z-980 camera.

You might wonder how did I get that wonderfully blue sky. Well, it was very bright out on the back deck, to avoid an overexposure, I dialed in EV-0.7 on the Exposure Compensation. That did two things: (1) it prevented overexposure. and (2) it darkened the sky slightly, producing a very nice color effect.
