Plastic housing. Noisy autofocus during video recording. Too much purple fringing / chromatic aberrations
Colors seem dull at default saturation
Mediocre low light focusing (night shots did not come out, difficulties around the office)
Sound in movie mode appears to be out of sync with video (640 x 480, 30 fps only?)
Lens rattles, plastic battery door is flimsy
Concerned about durability of switch finder
So-so bundle is what I have really read about the negativity of the Z1.......

I say go with the Kodak all the way!! Great pics with a reliable name!

Minolta has a great name behind it to however, after reading a few reviews, seeing the same issues as you mentioned croping up frequently and actually trying the Z1 in the store (long after buying my DX6490) I would place the Z1 at the bottom of the list for current 10x zoom class cameras.
