Even at ISO 400, there seems not much noise.

Kodak color is charming
Kodak mpeg-4 video is superb <= my primary reason to buy Kodak (even by today's standard. I am using Nikon P7000 now but not quite satisfied with its video quality) Last edited by big_potato; May 13, 2011 at 2:35 PM. |

Hello all- I posted here two years ago with pix of my daughter and her newborn son, from my good old Kodak Z612. It died this past April, and I purchased a Canon ELPH 1200, which was the last model with a tiny viewfinder. It served me well on my trip to Europe and was handy to use. But the color just wasn't as good as Kodak and it only has a 2X zoom. So I found a reconditioned Z950 on eBay for a little over $100 and took a chance on it, mainly because of the statement here about this being Kodak's secret weapon. I've been playing with it this morning and I'm very impressed. My only complaint is that it's a little slow in processing, and even slower in magnifying. But it has the Kodak color that Canon just can't match. Here's my grandson, now almost two and my daughter. We are awaiting the birth of his baby brother in September, so I'll have another shot at my daughter and her newborn! ***I have included two shots from the Canon ELPH. Can you tell which pix don't have the Kodak color?***

I own a Z812 so it was easy for me to find out that nr 3 and 7 were the non-Kodak pics. Gerardo Last edited by DeltaPix; Nov 12, 2011 at 7:39 AM. |

Yes, both the Kodak and the Sony camera are good.
