Default bad quality because of class II sd card???

I just baught a kodak playsport ZX5. I was really excited about it after reading all the review s. when I charged it and hooked it up though the quality was terrible at every setting. 720p 1080i etc... it was blurry, color was bland, terrible noise when panning even at 60fps at 720p. I an ready to ship it back to the seller but then thought maybe it's the sd card I am using. I have a4gb kingston but not sure what class it is. the only other numbers on it are the number 2. please help quick...

the class on a SD card relates to the speeds it can read/write, this has no baring what so ever on the image quality
