I understand there is a Chinese-made Kodak branded camera about to 'hit' the market. Well, that figures seeing as all Kodak cameras of the past few years were 'outsourced' making the Kodak name just that - a name.

Anyhow, it'll be nice to see the name live on.

Thanks for that, Hawgwild! So, 'Kodak Pixpro' it is then and all I can say is that I hope it will have the 'color science' technology to produce the legendary Kodak colour that I and so many others love.

YOU definitely did not take that photo which looks like a mobile phone job shot in less than good light - one look at the quality of the pics in your Flickr gallery proves that!

Thank you for having a look and the nice compliment. I liken my photography to the "Golden BB effect". Take a million shots, and keep the three best. LOL.

Been posting about this over in the hybrid forum, on the original site they show all the ranges of cameras, and if you can Google translate the article pages you probably can get more information.

Yes Wayne has been following this JKltd company out of the Pacific coast. Revamped Kodak ZI 12 is what I am after at 49.99 no more.

If they ever get this cam out on the market three letters that will be on it
