When I take a picture the picture comes out lower than what I saw in the viewing window thing in the top left.. It was fine the other day.. I don't know what happened..

I don't know what camera model you are using. However, non-DSLR models with optical viewfinders typically do not have 100% frame coverage (usually more like 85%). This is because their viewfinders are separate, and are not TTL (through the lens).

So, your subject usually occupies more ofthe viewfinder frame, than it will in the actual image.

Also, you get what's known as "Parallax Error" with a non-TTL viewfinder. Most models have Parallax markings in the Viewfinders to assist with framing at closer ranges. Parallax error will be worse, as you get closer to your subject.
