Anyone know off hand the life of the extended 1700 battery for the 7440 camera? I think the standard battery gives me a little over 100 pictures when using LCD. This is being conservative with turning camera off after taking a few pictures.

How long can I expect the 1700mAh to last?

The book I got with my DX7590says that battery should last between 275-325 pics. This varies on the type use. I have no problem with it. Battery lasts a long time to me. I found a Maxell 1800mAh batteery that I bought as a back-up. It works great too. Battery life is much longer than I expected for both batteries.
